Before the Dungeons : a D&D inspired civ quest

Besides continuing the started projects we should do:

The Cliff Camp : The chalky cliff that holds the knapping stones we use for our tools is in a region that has little food or useful vegetation, and our people rarely come to it. However, with the relative safety of this cliff, we may come to this cliff more regularly, both to rest and to carefully knap the best possible tools. 0/5, +1 SUR, +1 LEARN
This will make producing tools easier.
Of Spears and throwings : The Freesingser are weak in body compared to the beasts of the wilds, and cannot catch the healthy deers, that run faster than us. We should study how to make our spears more deadly, and how to throw them farther, to protect and hunt. 0/5, Develop throwing spears
There is dangerous wildlife around and with better weapons we can defend ourselves from it
 
I think that we should go with something like this, focusing on easier/basic actions for this turn and start larger ones next turn.

I don't know about you but this camp could turn into the future capital of the elves/freesingers

It would be good to start working on Gathering the Inborn Songs, arcane would elevate us higher than anything I think. Whole new category of actions sounds wonderful, but alas, all options in Culture give giant flat bonuses to points. The bigger the points cost, the higher the rewards methinks, and we do not have any immediate threat at the moment. I think we can invest 2-3 points in some long-term investment. Freesingers know how to avoid all these beasts as of now.

I think that gathering inborn songs is an example of action that will get cheaper with other options chosen first, like Offerings for the Woods, which btw I am against taking without Woodsongs, and I think that the result will be better with Art of Cooking, Trinkets and Quest for Colors.

Nice, im just assuming this but we may potentially see the shape of our Pantheon here with Songs of the Firsts...

I definitely want to remember Purple tounge, simply because i find it interesting to have elves honor fire.

Otherwise a question @OldShadow will we potentially still see classical elves, or better said elves tracing their descent to Arvandor coming to this world? Or did we take their place?

Personally i like the idea of interacting with otl Elves with us being native Elves in forgotten realms.

Maybe, maybe not

By the same principle, you do not know if the Freesingers are in Faerun, another established setting, or somewhere else.
The Freesingers know very little in-character, and I like to keep some mysteries.

Dividing the tribe will accelerate social change and complicate our entire society. This is also a direct path to trading resources and information.
