ANT QUEST

[X] Pre-sort garbage food.
The garbage can is so full of food that ants have a surfeit of choice, and they may be tempted to just grab the nearest edible bit when just a little searching would have found something much more nutritious. So some ants will comb through the entire garbage pile to find which bits seem the most nutritious, and lay pheremone trails to direct the harvesters.

Did the ants discover that formic acid works as antidote for Fire Ants poison?

Is the new beatle the same species as the one we have?

Nice, the reds are driven out and we got another nurse beetle as spoils of war; if we're really lucky they're opposite genders of the same species so we can start breeding them. Too bad about the mimic spider infiltration, though; must've happened on our all-out defense turn, when we only had 1 Guard vote.

[X] Guard

Because we don't want any more infiltrators.

[x] Defend against Fire-ants

As an aside, I think we should actually put the two Nurse Beetles together so that they can breed new Nurse Beetles, and so that we can confirm they are the same species, not a trustworthy one and a vile imposter.

Ant-mimicking spiders! Pretty cool! I wonder if we'll get the abusive aphid analogue butterfly caterpillars at any point.

[X] Patrol the Nest in search of The Imposter. If attacked, spray Enemy pheremones on the attacker before dying.

[X] Tend queens

Guys, I don't think the spider is worth devoting much attention to. As long as its content to go after workers, the damage it does is practically nonexistent.

We just don't want more of them, because that could eventually become a problem. So, I think guarding is more important than Amongus-ing.
