My hope is that a new cultural innovation might give us a way to gain additional mysticism, since our only way of doing that right now is to expand education (which costs 3 temporary mysticism to do).

On the bright side, if we did actually expand education, eventually we should reach a point where our mysticism return is greater than what we spend.

I just want to see medicine make some progress.

That's correct. I should make it clearer that taking timid actions can result in the People being salty.

That's a future Megaproject! But you'll need to expand the camp into an actual settlement.

Yeah, it just currently strikes me as terribly inefficient. Focusing down medicine is fine for now, but I do hope to one day be able to find a new way of building our mysticism.

How far away is the holy land?

It had been lost to legend. Some say just right outside this valley. Some said it never exists at all. Others said it's too far. Regardless, people emphasized the founding of their settlement in their history over bullheaded march to death.


How far away are the closest group of survivors?
How successful are the most successful group of survivors?

Nobody knows. People hoped for other survivors, but some think they may be alone in this world.
