I realized that. Just wondering if it was mere coincidence and her name might mean something else or if we were getting the translated version until language solidified.
My problem is that if I want to write the language as I want to, I need sounds that aren't in english and then I'd have to clarify every time or use IPA letters and neither sounds very attractive, so right now you're getting a translated version and will likely do so the next many years until the words have lost their meaning and have simply become names.

I do plan on engineering a road of skulls lubricated by blood, so while Wisdom is neat, I'd rather our people be named after someone a bit more warlike, our very own Genghis Khan.

That said, there's probably no traps or wild animals in there, so let the wisewomen in.

That sounds terrible. You are QM here, you should just have them as you will. It is not like it is necessary for us to verbally pronounce them on a text-based forum. :V

Also, for a Nomadic people, Air is a great name and will heavily influence our Mythical narrative. I really want to do that too.

Well~~i do want people to settle down eventually, maybe just on big animals; then we can become a moving nation. :V Depends on mythical-ness of the settings.

No overinflated sense of self importance, no unnecessary singling out of a person just because they speak well, and no need to treat this as anything other than business as usual. Council of equals, not one who is more equal than the rest.

In other news I took a look at the mechanics doc for this update and reading up on Capacity and Limit I think we are pretty close to the Limit of this Region. We don't seem to be outside the range of whatever is drying the river, unfortunately. Oh well.

Establishing a great woman as a position pushes more towards a matriarchy rather than it being a one off thing. I want to see what a nomad matriarchy will look like. I also like the people being named Air as nomads for many reasons.

Send her into the building so she can build her rep and have legends more likely sung about her.
