You can do everything right, but in the end everything can still go wrong in an instant. And then all doors are shut with no chance of escape. Except on rare occasion, another door opens. Its the light at the end of the tunnel. But going through it, can you live with the knowledge that you failed? That all you strove for came to naught? But there are other worlds, mirror universes minor changes cascade into world-changing differences. Hello, dear reader, and welcome to the Programmer’s Guide to Witchcraft and Wizardry, a story about a fairly ordinary programmer who has inexplicably transported to the Harry Potter universe.
The story is written from the perspective of one Matt Dane, a 20ish-year-old freelance web developer with a penchant for SCIENCE!
Harry is very intelligent and wise for his age. Unfortunately, that means he can understand that his 'family' will never love him... which starts him on a dark path, especially after he discovers that he has powers most people do not.
